Dover High

I am Phineas and my best friend at my school is Gene, we do every thing together. We go to Dover High School. It is a nice private school located in New Hampshire. World War Two was going on and after high school everybody at our school was going to the war. It was an all boy school. The school had alot of nice places to go to. There was a tree next to the river that noboby had ever climbed at their age. So I said to Gene and my friends that we should climb it and then jump off the tree. It was only done by the older kids that graduated and that were right about to go off to the war. So I climbed it and jumped off. Then I forced Gene to do it and he was scared but he did it. "This tree flooded me with a sensation of alarm all the way to my tingling fingers" (8). That quote shows that Gene was scared but he listened to me and he jumped and he was fine after he did it. Nobody else was brave enough to climb the tree. They made up excuses to not climb the tree. "... were vocal enough, complaining shrilly about school regulations, the danger of stomach cramps, physical disabilities they had never mentioned before" (10). The only people that climbed the tree that day was me and Gene every body else made up excuses and so it started to rain so we left and started heading inside. Everybody went inside and me and Gene were walking together. Then I tackled Gene because I was just fooling around and Gene tackled me back and we started wrestling. We ended up skipping dinner and going straight to our room. "We struggled in some equality for a while, and then when we were sure we were too late for dinner, we broke off" (11). We were wrestling each other until we knew dinner had started and we were late. We went straight to our room and we did all of our home work. There are alot of adventures that go on at Dover High School.
